Understanding the table below:
Species Column- Designates the species/type of lumber.
Thickness=
4/4= 1"+ Thick (used to make finished products at 3/4" Thick after planing/surfacing)
5/4= 1.25"+ Thick (use when making finished Products 1" Thick after surfacing)
6/4= 1.5"+ Thick (used to make products finished at 1.25" thick after planing/surfacing)
8/4= 2"+ Thick (used for products that will be 1.75" thick after surfacing)
9/4= 2.25" Thick (to produce a finished product at 2" thick after planing)
GRADES = Grades are determined by how clear (Free of defects) each piece of lumber is, expressed as a percentage.
FAS1F 10"& Up. = This is the FAS1F-BTR (Highest) Grade with widths specifically 10" and wider. This is the exact same grade as FAS1F-BTR, but is a higher cost because of the specification of wider widths. (83%-100% Clear)
FAS1F-BTR is the highest grade we produce. Each piece is a minimum of 83% Clear, with potential of pieces being up to 100% clear of defects.
1 Common is a median (Middle/Average) grade of lumber. Pieces are a minimum of 66% Clear, up to 82% Clear.
2 Common is a low grade of lumber. Each board is a minimum of 50% Clear up to 65% Clear.
Mill Run is a combination of all the grades above, all packaged together.
Prices listed are per Board foot (Bd/ft) of Lumber. 1 Board foot = 12"x12"x1".
Examples: 1" Thick x 6" Wide x 8' long = 4Bd/ft
2" Thick x 6" Wide x 8' Long = 8Bd/ft
